Dana White Dismissive Of Kayla Harrison's Competition In PFL: "Kayla Hasn't Fought Anybody Yet"

UFC President Dana White isn't buying the hype surrounding two-time Olympic gold medalist, and current undefeated PFL women's lightweight champion Kayla Harrison.

White spoke with Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Iole and dismissed the quality of the opponents Harrison has faced during her run with the PFL. He even said that he believes two-division UFC champion Amanda Nunes would obliterate those same women if she fought them and thinks Harrison has yet to prove she's one of the best women's mixed martial artists on the planet. The 31-year old Middleton, Ohio native is 12-0 so far in her pro fighting career and her most notable wins have come over Larissa Pacheo, Cindy Dandois, Genah Fabian, and Mariana Morais.

5 Key Things in MMA – What to Expect During the Fall Season

“Kayla Harrison hasn’t fought anybody yet,” White said (h/t MMA Fighting). “She hasn’t fought anybody. Let me put in Amanda Nunes in with the girls that she’s fought – might be the first death in MMA, OK? And listen, I like her, I’ve got nothing against her. But c’mon, let’s be honest.”
