UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar are reportedly going to meet later this year.

DC is tired of waiting for things to get done and he is demanding that UFC President Dana White finally get the bout signed.

“Dana, get on the phone right now,” Cormier said to TMZ Sports (via MMA Fighting). “If you haven’t called him yet, do it today. What are you waiting for? Let’s get this shit on the books. Let’s get this on the books.”

Lesnar and Cormier had a brief physical confrontation at UFC 226, but nothing has come out of that moment since.

Cormier insists that Lesnar is the opponent that he wants, plus the heavyweight champion believes everybody wants to fight.

“It’s the fight I want,” Cormier said. “I think everybody wants to fight Brock. We all want to fight Brock, so ... that’s the fight. That’s the fight that needs to happen. He’s a former UFC champ, All-American in college, the guy is very, very deserving of a fight and he’s gonna get it. Hopefully.”

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion just lost the WWE Universal Title to Seth Rollins at WWE Wrestlemania 35, possibly clearing the path to a bout with Cormier.
