After an extended absence from the UFC, one half of the Diaz brothers in Nate Diaz returns to action against Dustin Poirier at UFC 230.
Odds have been released for the upcoming bout courtesy of Bet Online and Poirier has been deemed the favorite against Diaz. Poirier is coming in at a -175 favorite, while the Stockton native came in at a +150 underdog for the fight.
Those odds mean that a bet of $175 on Poirier will give the bettor a net profit of $100 if Poirier wins, while a bet of $100 on Diaz will gain a net profit of $150 if Diaz wins. It should be noted that the odds could change drastically and multiple times leading up to the fight day.
Poirier was last seen in the main event of UFC On Fox 30, where he defeated former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez by second round TKO. Diaz hasn’t been seen since headlining UFC 202 and suffering a controversial decision loss to former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor.
UFC 230 takes place on Saturday, November 3 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
