Even Dana White Couldn’t Score The UFC Fight Night Liverpool Main Event

UFC President Dana White was Octagon side at UFC Fight Night Liverpool, which saw Darren Till earn a unanimous decision win over Stephen Thompson.

Each round was incredibly close and hard to score for many and the UFC President was among those who couldn’t discern a winner and loser of each five minute period.

“I said I have no idea,” White said after the event. “Every round was so close. When you have rounds that are so close, you almost lose track of scoring. It was a tough fight to score.”

When the scorecards were read after five rounds of action, it was 49-46, 48-47 and 49-46 in favor of Till.

Close rounds or not, an upcoming move for the UFC and Till is to get the Liverpool native back in action in the confines of Las Vegas.

“He’s going to (Las) Vegas next,” White said. “I don’t know when or who he’ll fight, but I’ll probably bring him to Vegas next.”

There are only two UFC cards scheduled for the UFC right now according to their events section and both are set for July, it is unlikely that Till appears on either do to their close proximate with his recent bout in Liverpool.
