Sean O'Malley gained plenty of publicity from his Dana White's Contender Series victory earlier this year, in large part thanks to rap superstar Snoop Dogg.
Snoop Dogg, along with Urijah Faber, provided alternate commentary for the series. Sean's knockout victory was followed by shouts of "O'MALLEY!" from the platinum selling recording artist. Following the event, O'Malley was pretty transparent in saying that he smoked with Snoop Dogg right after the show.
"Smoking with Snoop, that was fun. I didn't even know that was possible. I got tested, so I had to take two weeks off, I hadn't smoked. It felt like a movie. It was like a blur," said O'Malley to Fightful.com's James Lynch.
Just a few months later, O'Malley makes his official UFC debut against Terrion Ware. O'Malley doesn't seem to concerned about the problems his opponent presents.
"This camp's going perfect. I'm excited to see what I'm going to do with a full camp," O'Malley said. "I didn't know who (Terrion) was. I had to look him up. I saw a couple of his fights and I said 'Hell yeah, I want that guy. Easy Money.' He's the same style I've knocked out in the last four fights."
