Curtis Millender Aims To Finish Siyar Bahadurzada & Says He's A Fan Of WWE's Becky Lynch

Curtis Millender is stepping back into the Octagon at UFC 232, facing Siyar Bahadurzada in a welterweight division encounter.

UFC 232 is set for just four days after Christmas and that may affect some fighters, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for Millender, who is viewing the big day as nothing more than a normal Tuesday.

“Well…luckily no, I already told the whole family that Christmas is just a ‘Tuesday for me this year guys.’ Like, when we get back from New Years, we’ll eat everything in sight. You know Christmas…I’ll call and say Merry Christmas, but I’m not gonna go anywhere. I’m gonna get my two workouts in, its gonna be fight week…so its not a big issue for me,” says Millender in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.

This is not the first time the UFC has held a card within days of Christmas, as the promotion has been running year end events for quite some time now.

Millender was in attendance at this past years WWE Survivor Series event and its safe to say that he has jumped on the Becky Lynch bandwagon.

“I was not a fan of Becky Lynch until now, we had Survivor Series here…Survivor Series weekend here in LA. So I was able to go to Survivor Series and she didn’t even wrestle, but she had the biggest pop all night. Every time during the Charlotte (Flair) and Ronda (Rousey) match, she had a pop…everybody in there screaming ‘Becky.’ When she came out (Nia Jax), it was like the biggest pop for Becky…so it was pretty awesome and Ronda got booed, which was pretty awesome too,” says Millender.

UFC 232 takes place on Saturday, December 29 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
