Becky Lynch knows her potential match with Ronda Rousey is the most highly-anticipated showdown in WWE. And because of that, she believes the bout should headline WrestleMania 35.
Lynch and Rousey were set to square off at Survivor Series this past November, but a severe concussion and "broken face" suffered the Monday prior to the event took her out off the card. The delay has only boosted the profile of the showdown as both ladies have traded social media shots over the past month in order to keep the feud alive.
Speaking on Ariel Helwani's MMA Show, Lynch was asked about potentially headlining the biggest show of the year with Rousey.
"Now, the fight people want to see is Me vs. Ronnie [Ronda Rousey]. They want to see it on a bigger stage and I think WrestleMania is a pretty damn big stage," said Lynch. "That's my goal. It's all I can think about and all I want. If I had a vision board, it would be on my vision board. The possibility is right there. It's the fight people most care to see. It doesn't matter what the gender is. It's the one people care about the most, so it should be the main event."
Many believe that the eventual one-on-one bout will take place at WrestleMania 35 and that the match should headline the event, but nothing is official.
Before Lynch thinks about taking on Rousey, she must first get through Asuka and Charlotte Flair this Sunday at WWE TLC. Lynch is currently scheduled to defend her SmackDown Women's Title against both superstars in the first-ever Women's Tables, Ladders and Chairs bout.
