MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko has an opponent finally for his return to the Bellator cage as he is set to take on Tim Johnson.
Russian media outlet TASS' Igor Lazarin was the first to report the news of the matchup, while the promotion then confirmed the fight themselves with an official announcement across their social media platforms. Emelianenko will face Johnson in the headlining bout of Bellator Moscow on October 23 in what will be a homecoming of sorts for the former Pride FC heavyweight champion, as the event will be held from the VTB Arena in Moscow, Russia.

Johnson on the other hand is 3-1 in his last four appearances with the promotion, most recently losing to Valentin Moldavsky via a split decision at Bellator 261.
