Reigning Bellator middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi will make his next title defense against undefeated contender Johnny Eblen at Bellator 282 on June 24 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
The promotion officially announced the matchup via a tweet, whereas journalist Ariel Helwani was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works. Mousasi is currently on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off of an 85 second TKO victory over Austin Vanderford at Bellator 275. Eblen meanwhile is 7-0 under the Bellator banner since debuting with the promotion back in March 2019. He will look to build on a unanimous decision victory over former Bellator title challenger, John Salter, back at Bellator 276 in his latest outing.
