UFC light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira is expected to make his first title defense against Jiri Prochazka at UFC 274 on May 7.
ESPN's Brett Okamoto was the first to report the news of the matchup, although the promotion is yet to officially announce anything regarding the bout or event. Teixeira is currently on a six-fight winning streak and is coming off of a second-round submission win over former champ, Jan Blachowicz, back at UFC 267. Prochazka on the other hand is riding a 12 fight winning streak of his own and is 2-0 in his two Octagon outings, most recently defeating Dominick Reyes via a second-round knockout at UFC Vegas 25.
