A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Copenhagen, first announced by the UFC Europe Twitter page, as Jack Shore is in action against Nohelin Hernandez.
Shore (11-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has already lasted over three years. Shore is a former Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion, but relinquished the gold upon signing with the UFC earlier this year. Shore has competed eleven times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those encounters went the distance.
Hernandez (9-3-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Marlon Vera at UFC 239. Hernandez has picked up nine victories as a professional MMA fighter and six of those victories came by way of decision. Hernandez also went winless during a three fight stint as an amateur MMA competitor, with two of those losses coming in the 559 Fights promotion.
UFC Fight Night Copenhagen takes place on Saturday, September 28 from the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark with Jack Hermansson and Jared Cannonier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
