One of the smartest men in the room, Jake Paul is new to boxing but has been rewarded for his efforts by one of the top boxing promotions out there.
ESPN has confirmed that Paul, a YouTube star, will be fighting under the Showtime Sports brand. Paul would tease an announcement on social media before confirming the news.
in the media business they say content is king... and in the fight business, fighters are the content...so WE are the kings--

"Jake is proud of the events he participated in with Triller and appreciates the opportunities they afforded him," Paul's adviser Nakisa Bidarian told ESPN. "Jake is excited to continue his boxing career with Showtime Boxing. Fight announcement coming soon."
With his brother Logan, Jake has managed to take the combat sports world by storm. He made his boxing debut in 2020, beating fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib via TKO. He then fought under the Triller Fight Club banner, beating former NBA star Nate Robinson via KO. Paul recently beat former MMA champion Ben Askren back in April following a first-round knockout.
With his success has come doubters. Paul has been called out all over by those in the combat sports world, specifically MMA. He himself has called out Dana White a number of times, as well as Conor McGregor. At a recent UFC event, Paul was confronted by Daniel Cormier and had the crowd chant obscenities at him the entire night.
Triller invested a lot into Paul, but CEO Ryan Kavanaugh is not as upset about the loss as most would think.
"We love Jake," Kavanaugh told ESPN. "I wish Jake the absolute best. We had our two fights with him. ... I think for us, we've gone the distance with him that we can go. We won't be doing any more Jake fights."
Paul has made a lot of money fighting, and many fighters have been able to benefit from being on the same card as him. An announcement on an opponent, date, and location for Paul's next bout has not been announced yet.
