Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson are set to headline UFC 232, with the winner becoming the new UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.
News would break earlier tonight stating that the event has been moved from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada to The Forum in Inglewood, California after Jones wasn’t cleared by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) due to an abnormality found in a drug test.
It didn’t take long for fighters to comment on the craziness surrounding UFC 232 and Jones would issue a few comments of his own via a series of Tweets:
I’m focused on achieving my ultimate goal of reclaiming my Light Heavyweight title. I have willingly submitted to every USADA test in the lead up to this fight and USADA has confirmed what I've been saying all along, that I'm a clean athlete. I sincerely thank the California

State Athletic Commission and Andy Foster for doing the right thing and supporting me through this process. I cannot wait to fight Alex Gustafsson this Saturday December 29th at the Los Angeles Forum in Inglewood.

Two division UFC champion Daniel Cormier, a long time rival of Jones, would state the following on Twitter after the venue change was announced, leading to an exchange between the two:
He tested positive again!

Thanks for the laugh, I needed that night. $150,000 to any charity in Lafayette if he accepts my challenge. Let’s see if his IG stops working again -- https://t.co/6LdQW9LfAU

Keep the money, more stringent drug testing and no excuses or mishaps and I’ll give 125,000 to charity in Lafayette and 125,000 to a charity in San Jose. You just pay for the drug testing! #cheater https://t.co/RqtHv1r7Ra

In addition, Jon Jones' UFC 232 opponent in Alexander Gustaffson ended his helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon and commented on the matter shortly before Christmas Eve.
Now we all understand why u didn’t take the Wada test! U can be on rocket fuel,, I’ll still gonna finish u Jon! #andnew #ufc232
