Undefeated, reigning PFL women's lightweight champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist, Kayla Harrison, responded to some of the recent comments new UFC champ Julianna Peña made about her.
Harrison spoke with MMA journalist Ariel Helwani on the latest edition of The MMA Hour and sent the following warning of sorts to Peña for saying she's been fighting in the "B-Leagues", while also stating the pair can meet in the cage to settle their dispute, especially now since Harrison is currently a free agent.
“I think she should be careful,” Harrison said (h/t MMA Fighting). “I think she needs to be careful about what she says and who she says it to. I’m not Conor McGregor. I don’t talk sh*t just to talk sh*t. I have a lot of respect for her. I think she’s a good fighter. But this isn’t a joke, and you should be careful because I don’t play those games. I’m not a B-league fighter. I’m going to be the best in the world, and if you think that’s different, then step in the cage with me and find out.”
