It was announced late Monday that UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez will be defending his championship against UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 205. Not everyone was happy about the main event announcement
One of the fighters who is not happy about the main event is current lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov, who vented his frustrations via Twitter.
I have two bout agreements that bullshit champ refuses to sign. I got used the whole time to make Conor and Eddie get on their knees and beg

Just for the record @Ealvarezfight and @TheNotoriousMMA fear me I'm just a man. Your time will come to get my hands on you

Nurmagomedov also took his disdain for the main event to his Instagram account, where he called the UFC a “freak show” and he also claimed that the UFC “was a sport” when he signed with them several years back.
Michael Johnson, who is coming off of a knockout win over Dustin Poirier at UFC Fight Night 94, has issued a challenge to Nurmagomedov. The fighter was quick to respond.
@FollowTheMenace any time anywhere, #205 @danawhite @ufc

UFC President Dana White noted on ESPN's SportsCenter that Khabib actually called him and asked for the fight at UFC 205.
UFC 205 takes place on November 12 from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
