A light heavyweight division affair first reported by TASS.ru has been added to Bellator 194 as Liam McGeary is in action against Vadim Nemkov.
McGeary (12-2-0) has won just one of his last three under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Brett McDermott at Bellator 173. McGeary is a former Bellator MMA Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Emmanuel Newton to win the belt at Bellator 134. McGeary started off his professional MMA career on an eleven fight undefeated streak that had lasted over five years.
Nemkov (8-2-0) is currently undefeated under the Bellator MMA banner, having defeated Philipe Lins by first round knockout at Bellator 182. Nemkov also won just one of three during his time competing in Rizin, but that lone win came over UFC veteran Goran Reljic at Rizin 1 in 2015. Nemkov has seen just one of his ten professional MMA bouts go past the first round and that came against Karl Albrektsson at a Rizin event in April of 2016.
Bellator 194 takes place on Friday, February 16 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Roy Nelson and Matt Mitrione headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
