Lineup Set For Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 9, Former NFL Star Greg Hardy Fights

The lineup is finalized for the ninth episode of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, with the main event featuring light heavyweights Dashawn Boatwright and Alonzo Menifield.

Boatwright (3-0-0) is the current Global Proving Ground Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Eric Ellerbee to win the gold in December of 2016. Boatwright returns to action for the first time in almost two years, with his last bout taking place on December of 2016. Boatwright has seen just one of his professional MMA fights go the distance and that came against General Marrow at an Odyssey Fights event in November of 2015.

Menifield (6-0-0) has already competed once under the DWTNCS banner, having defeated UFC veteran Daniel Jolly by first round TKO at DWTNCS Episode 3. Menifield has also competed once in Bellator MMA, defeating Zach Rosol by first round TKO at Bellator 146. Menifield has yet to see any of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and only two have made it to the second round.

Other bouts on the card will see Chris Curtis face Sean Lally, former NFL star Greg Hardy faces Austen Lane, Rico DiSciullo faces Montel Jackson and Kevin Holland faces Will Santiago.

Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 9 takes place on Tuesday, June 12 from the UFC Training Center in Las Vegas, Nevada with Dashawn Boatwright and Alonzo Menifield headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
