YouTuber turned boxer Logan Paul has his sights on MMA in the future following his spectacle showcase against former undefeated five-division world champion boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. on June 6.
Paul was speaking with Showtime Sports' Mauro Ranallo during the broadcast of this past Friday night's Bellator 259 event and vowed that he will eventually compete in a mixed martial arts bout before he dies, even believing he'd be better at it than boxing because of his prior amateur wrestling experience.
“Yeah, absolutely,” Paul said when asked if he would ever take an MMA fight (h/t MMAFighting). “I actually think I’d probably be better at MMA because of my wrestling background. I will say it’s a tough sport. It’s harder than boxing. MMA fighters are legitimate, all around, 360-degree fighters. I’ve had some knee issues on both knees and it’s rough on the body. But I can’t not do at least one MMA fight before I die, at least one. If I win, I’d probably do another.”
