Matt Brown may not want to retire after the filthy knockout win he earned at UFC Fight Night Norfolk.
The longtime UFC fighter flattened opponent Diego Sanchez at the show, in what he'd said would be his last fight. After staving off several takedown attempts from Sanchez, Brown looked prone to body kicks, as is tradition. He was able to catch one of the kicks and end the bout in dramatic fashion.

Round One: The round begins with Sanchez nailing Brown with a right before holding him against the cage wall, the fighters separate and Brown jabs away at Sanchez. Sanchez gets Brown against the cage wall again, the fighters separate and Brown attacks Sanchez with leg kicks. Sanchez briefly rocks Brown with a kick to the midsection, Brown recovers to nail Sanchez with a knee strike. Brown crushes Sanchez with a standing elbow strike and Sanchez goes out cold.

After the scrap, Brown was complimentary of his opponent and talked back retirement talk before being joined in the cage by his sons.
"I can't say enough good things about Diego. Diego, you gotta fight him. I wish we could have put on a better fight," Brown said before thanking troops on Veteran's Day. "We'll see what happens. I'll talk with my friends and family over the holidays. I had to keep my focus into Diego. If you don't put 100 percent sole focus on him, he's going to kick your ass."
