The fight featured non-stop action, with Chandler and Gaethje landing big blows to the other. Both would end up in the hospital after, but they did receive the Fight of the Night bonus.

McGregor would end up responding to Chandler's tweet, stating, "I’m down at some stage for sure. Great fight the other night Mike, congrats!"

The former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight Champion is 1-3 in his last four fights since returning to action. McGregor recently lost two in a row to Dustin Poirier.
