A lightweight showdown is set for UFC 274.
According to Sports Illustrated, a verbal agreement is in place from both fifth-ranked lightweight contender Michael Chandler and former interim UFC Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson to clash at UFC 274 on May 7.
Chandler (22-7), is coming off of a Fight of The Year contender at UFC 268, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss against Justin Gaethje.
Ferguson (25-6), will be looking to halt a three-fight skid following defeats against Beneil Dariush, Charles Oliveira and the aforementioned Gaethje.

UFC 274 is set to take place on Saturday, May 7 from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
