A light heavyweight division attraction has been announced for UFC Fight Night Copenhagen by the UFC Europe Twitter page as Michal Oleksiejczuk is going to be in action against Ovince St. Preux.
Oleksiejczuk (14-2-0-1NC) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Gian Villante and Gadzhimurad Antigulov. Oleksiejczuk hasn’t been defeated in almost five years and that last loss came to Marcin Wojcik at PLMMA 44 in November of 2014. Oleksiejczuk has four of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter has won three of those encounters.
St. Preux (23-13-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak and he hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year. St. Preux has previously challenged for the UFC Interim Light Heavyweight Title, losing a decision to Jon Jones at UFC 197. St. Preux has seen thirteen of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter has won just five of those encounters.
UFC Fight Night Copenhagen takes place on Saturday, September 28 from the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark with Jack Hermansson and Jared Cannonier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
