Meatball Mania is set to take over New York City this fall.
On Thursday, it was revealed that women's flyweight contenders "Meatball" Molly McCann and Erin Blanchfield are set to clash at UFC 281 on November 12 when the Octagon returns to Madison Square Garden. Blanchfield confirmed the booking via a post on her Instagram account, although the promotion has yet to officially announce anything regarding the bout or event yet. McCann is currently riding a three-fight winning streak and is coming off of a first-round TKO win over Hannah Goldy at UFC Fight Night 208 in July. Blanchfield meanwhile has won her last six fights and will look to build on a second-round submission victory over JJ Aldrich at UFC Vegas 56.
