Mythic+ dungeons in the first season of WoW expansion The War Within

Dungeons as an important part of the content

Dungeons hold a special place in World of Warcraft, being one of the key challenges for players. These dark and dangerous locations offer unique adventures where 5 heroes face powerful bosses, traps, and riddles. Each dungeon hides important and powerful rewards that can only be obtained by joining forces with other players. WoW dungeons vary in difficulty, style and theme, and represent exciting episodes in Azeroth's epic history. They require players to have teamwork, reactions, and some knowledge of mechanics. If you have a problem with one of these components you can use WoW carry. In this article, we will look at what M+ dungeons have been added to the game and how the gameplay has changed.

What are mythic+ dungeons?

Mythic+ is a variant of endgame content that challenges players. Unlike regular dungeons, M+ adds a timer as well as special affixes that give additional properties to your enemies. M+ is divided into levels. The higher the level of the dungeon the harder the mobs and better the rewards. In total, there are 10 levels of dungeons To enter such dungeons use a special Mythic+ Keystones. It is the indicator of your progress.

Mythic+ Dungeon pool

In the new Mythic+ pool, 8 dungeons have been added, 4 of them are brand new and the rest are added from past additions such as Shadowlands, Cataclysm, and Battle for Azeroth. Let's take a closer look at the new dungeons:

Ara-Kara, City of Echoes: This is a dungeon with three bosses located in the Azj-Kahet zone under the City of Threads. It is an old city of ruins, but the Nerubians collect the blood of the old gods here for their dark experiments in the ascension of the Nerubians.

City of Threads: A dungeon with 4 bosses. This city has some interesting mechanics. It is both a common area and a dungeon. The entrance to it is located on the upper border of the city. In this place, there is a special device called a transformer that turns the non-Rubians into an evolved version. The battle takes place in two parts. First, you defeat 2 bosses directly in the city and then you make your way inside the Transformer.

The Stonevault: This dungeon is located in The Ringing Deeps and will have you fighting 4 bosses. The main objective of this dungeon is to kill and pursue the former Stonevault leader, Eirich, because he is infected with void power, which gives him incredible strength and clouds his mind. The dungeon has one floor which is divided into sections. In them, you will find bosses that guard the main door for the entrance of the final battle.

The Dawnbreaker: A dungeon located in Hallowfall. The Arathi race has built their new flagship that will turn the tide of the war against the Nerubians, but they will try to thwart your plans. Your task is to protect the ship and go to the aid of the people of Mereldar.

Below you can see the list of dungeons from past additions that will be available for Mythic+:

Mists of Tirna Scithe (Shadowlands)

The Necrotic Wake (Shadowlands)

Siege of Boralus (Battle for Azeroth)

Grim Batol (Cataclysm)

Interactive dungeon buffs.

Silk Thread

Buff for the dungeon Ara-Kara, City of Echoes In this dungeon, tailors with a skill of 25 or higher can interact with Discordant Attendant, gaining the ability Silk Thread. This unique ability allows you to stun mobs for 10 seconds, which is especially effective against mini-bosses such as Piercing Voice. Using Silk Thread can be a key element of strategy, allowing you to control the fight and reduce the threat from dangerous enemies.

Stolen Power

This is a buff that can be used by Rogues, Priests, and Khaz Algar Engineers in the City of Threads. To obtain it, players must find one of the shadecasters who design the Ansurek holograms. After interacting, you get a buff that increases DPS, HPS, and Movement Speed.

The Stonevault: Imbued Iron Bar

Warriors, Dwarves, and Khaz Algar Blacksmiths in this dungeon can find anvils that contain this item. After interacting, you and allies within 20 yards of you gain a 10-minute buff to Versatility.

Overgrown Roots and Depleted Anima Seed

These items are available in the Mists of Tirna Scithe dungeon. Interacting with Overgrown Roots opens up new paths in the dungeon which gives you the ability to bypass the pack of thrash. You can also find mushrooms in hidden passages that give buffs. Depleted Anima Seed has the same useful mechanic and allows you to open a new resurrection location. To use these mechanics you must have Night Fae Covenant, and Night Elves on your team.

Necrotic Wake weapons

This dungeon has a large number of items that give additional properties. There are 4 such weapons in total: Discharged Anima, Bloody Javelin, Forgotten Forgehammer, and Discarded Shield.

Dungeon key levels and their Affixes

Keystone Level 2

After increasing the level of the dungeon to the second level, players get their first affix, which first appeared in this add-on - Xal'atath's Bargain. It has different mechanics depending on the week: Xal'atath's Bargain: Ascendant, Xal'atath's Bargain: Voidbound, Xal'atath's Bargain: Oblivion, or Xal'atath's Bargain: Devour. They increase the power of mobs but also give certain buffs to players if certain conditions are met.

Keystone Level 4

At level 4, dungeons receive one of two known buffs. Tyrannical or Fortified. The former affects bosses and increases their HP by 30 percent and damage by 15. Fortified affects normal mobs and increases damage by 20 percent. The affixes change every week. This may force you to adapt to new changes and change certain aspects of your build.

Keystone Level 7

At this keystone level, the next Challenger's Peril affix appears, which can slow down your progress. When players die in a dungeon with this affix, their death will take 15 seconds off the timer instead of 5. In such activities, every second counts, and frequent deaths can lead to the fact that you will not meet the required time to increase the key by 2 or 3 levels at once.

Keystone Level 10

At Keystone Level 10 in Mythic+ dungeons, the Tyrannical and Fortified affixes are activated at the same time, making it much harder to pass. These two affixes require careful planning and coordination on the part of the group, as both boss battles and normal mobs become more difficult.

Keystone Level 12

At this point, Xal'atath removes her bargains and activates Xal'atath's Guile. This increases the damage and health of all enemies by 20%. This may not seem like much of an increase, but such a large level is very difficult in itself because the damage and health of enemies scale with difficulty plus there are other affixes that further enhance the enemy. A huge disadvantage is that at this stage all the buffs that you could get from the 2nd level of the key disappear. Don't worry, if you want to get the maximum reward for the dungeons you only need to pass 10 mythic key. If this proves to be a problem for you use the WoW boosting service.

Loot in Mythic+ Dungeons

Loot is the main motivation for completing dungeons in World of Warcraft. With each expansion, the item level of loot increases, requiring players to continually upgrade their gear. In the first season, the maximum item level of gear is 639 (fully upgraded equipment). Don't forget that in addition to dungeon rewards, you can also receive loot from the Great Vault.

Conclusion

Mythic+ dungeons in the first season of The War Within expansion offer players exciting new challenges that require strategy, teamwork, and a good knowledge of the mechanics. The addition of new dungeons with unique buffs, as well as updates to old ones, create a diverse and interesting pool of content to explore, allowing for a new range of emotions and nostalgia. If you encounter some issues while completing this endgame content, then seek help from the WoW boost service.
