UFC star Nate Diaz would welcome an eventual third meeting with former two-division UFC champion, Conor McGregor.
Diaz spoke with the media at the UFC 279 post-fight press conference following his fourth-round submission win over former interim UFC lightweight champ, Tony Ferguson, and responded with the following when asked if he'd be interested in completing the trilogy with McGregor at some point.
“I would like to finish that, the trilogy for sure,” Diaz said (h/t MMA Fighting). “That would not be a trilogy in boxing, that would be [fight] No. 1. We could do some of those, too, but I’m going to go do what he tried to do and show him how to do it.”
