Pedro Munhoz Says That It’s “BS” That He Isn’t In EA UFC 4

We are a few days away from the release of EA UFC 4, which is scheduled to happen on Friday, August 14 for both X-Box One and Playstation 4.

There is one fighter who isn’t too thrilled with the game, mainly because he isn’t in it, and that fighter is Pedro Munhoz.

“That’s some bullshit, man,” Munhoz said to James Lynch of Line Movement MMA (via Tim Bissell of Bloody Elbow). “It just sucks. It’s something that I can not control. But, also, I think it’s some bullshit, you know? I tweet before, too, I’ve been in the UFC since 2014, next year it’s going to be seven years. I’ve fought the best fighters in the division and I compete in every one of my fights. But I think it’s not how good you are. I think it’s how many followers you have, you know?”

Munhoz has been a part of the UFC roster since February of 2014 and has yet to be a member of the roster for any of the EA UFC video games.

The excluded fighter also says his fighting style is perfect for the EA UFC 4 video game.

“My game, my fight style, pretty much everybody knows what I do,” said Munhoz. “I’m the guy who likes to push the pace, I’m the guy who enjoys the exchanges. ... Also I’m not a guy that goes for takedowns as much, I look for the knockout at the beginning.”

It is possible that Munhoz could be added to the game later via downloads and other updates, but nothing has been revealed at this time.
