PFL CEO Peter Murray Open To Cross-Promote With Bellator For Kayla Harrison-Cris Cyborg Matchup

PFL CEO Peter Murray is interested in cross-promoting with Bellator for a potential matchup between Undefeated two-time PFL women's lightweight champion, Kayla Harrison, and Bellator women's featherweight champ Cris Cyborg.

Murray spoke with journalist Ariel Helwani on last Wednesday's edition of his show The MMA Hour and expressed the PFL would be open to working with Bellator to make a Harrison-Cyborg fight happen, but also believes there are other options for Harrison if a bout between the two doesn't materialize.

“We’re proponents of that,” Murray said (h/t MMA Fighting) “We’ve been out there and Kayla wants that fight. We believe Cris wants that fight, and if we could make it happen between the two organizations, the PFL and Bellator, as a cross-promotion and joint event, which we’re still open to, we’ll take another path to see if we can put that together. [Harrison vs. Cyborg is] one compelling fight, but there are others for Kayla. This season will be her toughest season yet with our format and then longer-term, we have some opportunities to put on big fights with Kayla on pay-per-view.”
