A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Ottawa according to MMA Junkie as #9 Aleksei Oleinik is in action against #14 Walt Harris.
Oleinik (57-11-1) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, having defeated the duo of Junior Albini and Mark Hunt. Oleinik has suffered only a pair of defeats under the UFC banner, with those two losses coming to Daniel Omielanczuk and Curtis Blaydes. Oleinik has picked up 57 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 45 of them have come by way of submission.
Harris (12-7-0) also enters the contest while riding a two fight winning streak, having defeated the duo of Daniel Spitz and Andrei Arlovski. Harris hasn’t suffered a defeat in over a year, with that last loss coming to Mark Godbeer at UFC 217 in November of 2017. Harris has picked up twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them have come by KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Ottawa takes place on Saturday, May 4 from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
