A middleweight division attraction has been added to the February 6 UFC card as Aliaskhab Khizriev faces Wellington Turman.
MMA Fighting first reported the bout.
Khizriev (13-0-0) is making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over six years. Khizriev competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 30, defeating Henrique Shiguemoto by first round submission. Khizriev has competed 13 times as a professional MMA fighter and four of those encounters went the distance.
Turman (16-4-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Markus Perez at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Turman hasn’t picked up a win in over a year, as that aforementioned win over Perez came in November of 2019. Turman has picked up seven of 15 wins by way of submission, with another four coming by KO/TKO.
