Report: Anderson Dos Santos Replaces Sergio Giglio At UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires

Sergio Giglio has suffered an injury according to MMA Brasil and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires, replacing him against Nad Narimani is going to be Anderson Dos Santos.

Narimani (11-2-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Khalid Taha by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Hamburg. Narimani is a former Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion, defeating Paddy Pimblett to win the gold at Cage Warriors 82. Narimani hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost four years, with that last loss coming to Alex Enlund at Cage Warriors 73.

Dos Santos (19-6-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Dos Santos is a veteran of the Titan Fighting Championships, where he defeated fellow UFC fighter Ricky Simon. Dos Santos has nineteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them have come by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night Beunos Aires takes place on Saturday, November 17 from a location to be announced in Beunos Aires, Argentina with Neil Magny and Santiago Ponzinibbio headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
