A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Houston as #7 Andrea Lee faces #8 Lauren Murphy.
MMA Fighting first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Lee (11-3-0) has won three of four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the trio of Veronica Macedo, Ashlee Evans-Smith and Montana De La Rosa. Lee has fought four times thus far in the UFC and all of those bouts went to the judges scorecards. Lee has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and two of them came by way of decision.
Murphy (11-4-0) has rotated wins and losses in her last six UFC bouts, with the latest contest being a third round TKO win over Mara Romero Borella at UFC Fight Night Newark. Murphy also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, losing in the opening round to Nicco Montano. Murphy has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Houston takes place on Saturday, February 8 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
