A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Denver according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as Ashley Yoder is in action against Amanda Cooper.
Yoder (5-4-0) is winless thus far in UFC competition, having dropped bouts to the trio of Mackenzie Dern, Angela Hill and Justine Kish. Yoder also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, losing to Kate Jackson in the opening round of the reality show. Yoder has previously competed in Invicta FC, where she defeated Amber Brown by second round submission at Invicta FC 20.
Cooper (3-4-0) has rotated wins and losses under the UFC banner, with her last fight being a first round submission loss to Mackenzie Dern at UFC 224. Cooper also made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, losing to Tatiana Suarez in that final bout. Cooper has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all those defeats came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Denver takes place on Saturday, November 10 from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado with Frankie Edgar and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
