Report: Belal Muhammad vs. Dhiego Lima On December 19 UFC Card

Belal Muhammad needed a new opponent for UFC Vegas 17 after the withdrawal of Sean Brady and now he has one in the form of Dhiego Lima.

Muhammad (17-3-0) enters the contest riding a three-fight winning streak with those wins coming over Curtis MillenderTakashi Sato and Lyman Good. Muhammad hasn’t been defeated in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Geoff Neal at UFC Fight Night Brooklyn. Muhammad has competed 20 times as a professional MMA fighter and 14 of those bouts went the distance.

Lima (15-7-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, with those wins coming over Chad Laprise, Court McGee and Luke Jumeau. Lima hasn’t been defeated in over two years, with that last loss coming to Yushin Okami at UFC On Fox 29. Lima also made it to the TUF 25 finals, losing to Jesse Taylor in that final fight.

UFC Vegas 17 takes place on Saturday, December 19 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
