A bantamweight division attraction has been added to the UFC Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale according to Farah Hannoun as Boston Salmon is in action against Khalid Taha.
Salmon (6-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and is also returning to action for the first time in over a year. Salmon competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 1, defeating Ricky Turcios by unanimous decision. Salmon is also a longtime veteran of the Resurrection Fighting Alliance, winning five of six bouts in the promotion.
Taha (12-2-0) is currently winless in UFC competing, having dropped a bout to Nad Narimani via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Hamburg. Taha also competed in the 2017 Rizin Bantamweight World Grand Prix, making it to the second round before losing to Takafumi Otsuka. Taha has suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to suffer a loss by KO/TKO.
UFC Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale takes place on Friday, November 30 from the Pearl Theatre At The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada with Kamaru Usman and Rafael Dos Anjos headlining. Fightful is proviidng live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
