Johns (15-2-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Aljamain Sterling and Pedro Munhoz. Johns hasn’t picked up a victory in almost two years, with that last win coming over Joe Soto at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale. Johns has held gold outside of the UFC, as he is a former Cage Warriors and Titan FC Bantamweight Champion.

Gravely (19-5-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a seven fight winning streak. Gravely is also a double title holder before coming to the UFC, as he is a former King Of The Cage and CES MMA Bantamweight Champion. Gravely also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 8, defeating Ray Rodriguez by third round TKO.

UFC Fight Night Raleigh takes place on Saturday, January 25 from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina with Curtis Blaydes and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
