A featherweight division clash has been added to UFC 256 as Chase Hooper is in action against Peter Barrett.

Hooper (9-1-1) has won just one of two under the UFC banner with that lone win coming over Daniel Teymur at UFC 246. Hooper also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Episode 14, defeating Canaan Kawaihae by unanimous decision. Hooper has competed 11 times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of them went the distance.
Barrett (11-4-0) is winless thus far in UFC competition, dropping a bout to Youssef Zalal at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleinik. Barrett did competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 10, defeating Sang Hoon Yoo by unanimous decision. Barrett has spent the majority of his professional MMA career in the Cage Titans promotion, earning a 10-3-0 record there.
UFC 256 takes place on Saturday, December 12 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
