A featherweight division attraction is the latest addition to the UFC on Fox 31 card according to Farah Hannoun as Dan Ige is in action against Jordan Griffin.
Ige (9-2-0) has won just one of two bouts thus far under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Mike Santiago at UFC 225. Ige also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 3, defeating Luis Gomez by third round submission. Ige has suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter and both of those losses have come by way of decision.
Griffin (17-5-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a four bout winning streak. Griffin also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 15, defeating Maurice Mitchell by first round submission. Griffin has also held the Dakota FC and Revelation Fight Organization Featherweight Titles before coming to the UFC.
UFC on Fox 31 takes place on Saturday, December 15 from the Wisconsin Sports & Entertainment Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Kevin Lee and Al Iaquinta headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which will air live on Fox.
