Report: Danilo Marques Faces Mike Rodriguez On February 6 UFC Card

A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to the February 6 UFC card as Danilo Marques faces Mike Rodriguez.

Marques (10-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Khadis Ibragomiv at UFC 253. Marques also comes into the contest riding a three fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in over three years. Marques has competed 12 times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those encounters went the distance.

Rodriguez (11-5-0-1NC) has won just two of six in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Adam Milstead and Marcin Prachnio. Rodriguez also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 5, defeating Jamelle Jones by first round knockout. Rodriguez has picked up nine of 12 wins by KO/TKO, with another two coming by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Volkov takes place on Saturday, February 6 from a location to be announced with Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
