A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Rochester according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN as Davi Ramos is going to be in action against Austin Hubbard.
Ramos (9-2-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a three fight winning streak, having defeated the trio of Chris Gruetzemacher, Nick Hein and John Gunther. Ramos hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years, with that last loss coming against Sergio Moraes at UFC Fight Night 106. Ramos has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those victories came by way of submission.
Hubbard (10-2-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Hubbard is the current Legacy Fighting Alliance Lightweight Champion, defeating Killys Mota to win the gold at LFA 56. Hubbard is also a former Caged Aggression and Sparta Combat League Lightweight Champion, defeating Cliff Wright and Kristian Nieto to start those reigns.
