Deron Winn, who was last seen in action at Golden Boy MMA: Liddell vs. Ortiz III, has apparently signed a contract with the UFC.
The news of the signing was first announced by Winn himself via Twitter:
Hello @ufc middleweights. My name is Deron Winn.

Happy to announce I just signed with the big leagues! pic.twitter.com/rELQF7bJsK
Although Winn did announce the signing himself, no financial numbers or contract length was announced by the fighter.
Winn is 5-0-0 as a professional MMA fighter, with notable victories coming over UFC veteran Tom Lawlor and Ahmed White. Winn has primarily competed at light heavyweight during his professional MMA career, but will transition to middleweight in the UFC. Robert Whittaker is the current king of the UFC Middleweight Division and is defending the gold against Kelvin Gastelum this coming February in the main event of UFC 234.
A newly signed Winn has also competed once in Bellator MMA, defeating the aforementioned Ahmed White by first round TKO at Bellator 199.
There is no word at this time as to when Winn will make his UFC debut or whom that opponent is going to be when that happens.
