Report: Diego Ferreira Faces Drew Dober On November 7 UFC Card

A lightweight division attraction has been added to a yet to be announced UFC card on November 7 as no. 8 Diego Ferreira faces no. 15 Drew Dober.

Ferreira (17-2-0) enters the contest riding a six-fight winning streak with notable wins coming over Olivier Aubin-Mercier, Rustam Khabilov and Anthony Pettis. Ferreira hasn’t been defeated in over five years, with that last loss coming to Dustin Poirier at UFC Fight Night 63. Ferreira has competed 19 times as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those bouts went the distance.

Dober (23-9-0-1NC) comes into the bout riding a three fight winning streak with those wins coming over Marco Polo Reyes, Nasrat Haqparast and Alexander Hernandez. Dober competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Daron Cruickshank. Dober also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter, which included a win over Strikeforce veteran Lumumba Sayers.

The yet to be announced UFC card is set for Saturday, November 7 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
