Russian UFC fighter Gadzhimurad Antigulov was in the midst of a wedding punch-up in his native Dagestan — this and much more craziness on Friday's social media roundup.
Russian UFC fighter involved in wedding fight.
Russian UFC light heavyweight Gadzhimurad Antigulov was at the center of a wedding brawl in his native Dagestan after the fighter reportedly refused to stop drinking alcohol at the alcohol-free celebrations. Watch the video of the bust-up here.
In the video, Antigulov was filmed throwing food at women at a nearby table. One of the guests approached Antigulov, the latter dressed in blue, and appeared to try and calm him down. This clearly did not work as the UFC fighter rose from his chair and lashed out before being struck in return.
A day after the wedding, Antigulov issued a public apology via Instagram.
"I am an ordinary person. I am a mixed martial artist. I am not a prophet," wrote Antigulov in Russian (h/t RT Sport). "And like all mortal people, sometimes I make mistakes, I confess, I correct myself."
In the post, Antigulov rejected reports that he injured a guest but offered to pay for treatment of the injuries sustained.

T.J. Dillashaw is not interested in fighting former coach, teammate and friend Urijah Faber. Dillashaw and Faber were friends for many years when they trained together at Team Alpha Male. This all changed when Dillashaw decided to leave the gym to go and train full time with Duane Ludwig.
There’s still bad blood, but Dillashaw isn’t focused on Faber.
