Middleweight contenders Edmen Shahbazyan and Jack Hermansson will look to rebound from losses when they face off at UFC 262 on May 15, first reported by The Los Angeles Times' Manouk Akopyan. The fight is expected to be a featured bout on the event which takes place from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas in front of a full crowd, hasn't been officially announced by the promotion yet. Shahbazyan will try to bounce back from the first professional defeat of his career, losing via a third-round TKO to Derek Brunson at UFC Vegas 5. Hermansson will look to do the same thing after losing his latest Octagon appearance to Marvin Vettor via a unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 16.

Cat Zingano vs. Olivia Parker added to Bellator 256 on April 9
Former UFC title challenger Cat Zingano will make her return to the Bellator cage against Olivia Parker in a featherweight bout at Bellator 256 on April 9, first reported by ESPN's Marc Raimondi. Zingano won her promotional debut in a catchweight bout over Gabby Holloway via a unanimous decision at Bellator 245, while Parker the former Invicta FC veteran will make her own debut with the promotion last competed at Invicta FC 40 losing via a first-round submission due to a rear-naked choke against Chelsea Chandler.

Montana De La Rosa vs. Ariane Lipski set for UFC event in June
A women's flyweight matchup between Montana De La Rosa and Ariane Lipski has been booked for a-yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on June 5, first reported by MMAJunkie's Farah Hannoun and Nolan King. De La Rosa is 4-2-1 since her return to 125 pounds and most recently went to a majority draw with Mayra Bueno Silva at UFC Vegas 20, while Lipski on the other hand is 2-1 in her last three outings dropping a second-round TKO loss to Antonina Shevchenko at UFC 255 is her latest outing.

Cody Law takes on Nathan Ghareeb at Bellator 256 on April 9
Undefeated featherweight prospect and former NCAA Division II wrestling National Champion Cody Law will make his return against Nathan Ghareeb at Bellator 256 on April 9, first reported by MMAFighting's Damon Martin. Law is only 2-0 as a professional so far with his last win coming via a third-round TKO against Kenny Champion at Bellator 254. Ghareeb is also just 2-0 as a pro and will make his Bellator debut against Law, he last beat Zach Johnson via a first-round TKO at CES MMA 59 in October 2019.

Shane Young out of UFC 260 fight with Omar Morales due to COVID-19
Featherweight Shane Young has been forced out of his bout with Omar Morales at this weekend's UFC 260 card due to COVID-19 protocols, first reported by Milenio's Carlos Contreras Legaspi. The news doesn't come as much of a surprise as Young's teammate UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski was pulled from his title defense against Brian Ortega in the co-headliner of UFC 260 after testing positive for the virus. The promotion is seeking a replacement for Morales who is 3-1 inside of the Octagon, losing his last appearance to Giga Chikadze via a unanimous decision at UFC Fight Island 5.
J.Y. Kim out, Mayra Bueno Silva in against Poliana Botelho at UFC event in May
Korean women's flyweight Ji Yeon Kim has been forced out of her bout with Poliana Botelho at a UFC Fight Night event on May 1 due to an undisclosed injury and will now be replaced by Mayra Bueno Silva, first reported by AgFight's Diego Ribas. Botelho is 1-1 since moving back to 125-pounds losing her last fight via a unanimous decision to Gillian Robertson at UFC Fight Island 6, while Bueno Silva is 2-1-1 since her own return to the flyweight division. She holds a submission victory over Robertson herself and went to a majority draw with Montana De La Rosa at UFC Vegas 20 in her latest Octagon appearance.
