A lightweight division affair may be coming to the UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo card according to MMA Fighting as #15 Francisco Trinaldo faces Evan Dunham.
Trinaldo (22-6-0) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, which was a decision win over Jim Miller at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo (2017). Trinaldo hasn’t picked up a victory in just about a year, as the aforementioned victory over Miller came in October of 2017. Trinaldo has suffered a total of six wins as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be defeated by KO/TKO.
Dunham (18-7-1) hasn’t earned a victory in almost two years, with his last win coming over Rick Glenn at UFC Fight Night 94. Dunham has picked up his last five wins under the UFC banner via decision and it has been over six years since the fighter got a finish in the promotion. Dunham also competes in Brazil for the first time in over five years, with his last appearance in the country coming at UFC On FX 8.
UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo takes place on Saturday, September 22 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
