Kape became the RIZIN Bantamweight Champion at RIZIN 20, defeating the aforementioned Asakura by second round TKO. Kape also made it to the finals of the 2017 Rizin Bantamweight World Grand Prix, losing to Kyoji Horiguchi in the finals. Kape is also a former Knock Out Championships Bantamweight Champion, defeating Antoine Gallinaro at KOC 8 in April of 2015 to win the gold.
There is no word at this time as to when Kape will make his promotional debut or whom that bout will come against.
