A welterweight division affair has been added to Bellator 202 according to MMA Junkie as Gerald Harris is going to be facing Yaroslav Amosov.
Harris (25-6-0) is currently winless under the Bellator MMA banner, having suffered a submission loss to Rafael Lovato Jr at Bellator 198. Harris also won three of four during a run in the UFC, with those victories coming over the trio of John Salter, Mario Miranda and David Branch. Harris is also a former Xtreme Fight Night Welterweight Champion, defeating Matt McKeon at XFB 344 to win the gold.
Amosov (19-0-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost six years. Amosov also competed nine times in the Tech-Krep FC promotion with only two of those nine fights going the distance. Amosov is also returning to action for the first time in almost a year, with his last fight coming in August of 2017.
Bellator 202 takes place on Friday, July 13 from the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Julia Budd and Talita Nogueira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
