A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Copenhagen according to Bloody Elbow as Giga Chikadze is in action against Brandon Davis.
Chikadze (7-2-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Chikadze competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 10, suffering a third round submission loss to Austin Springer. Chikadze has competed nine times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went past the opening round.
Davis (10-7-0) has won just two of six during his time in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Steven Peterson and Randy Costa. Davis competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 4, defeating Austin Arnett by unanimous decision. Davis has competed seventeen times as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of those encounters went the distance.
