A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Brooklyn according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN as Greg Hardy faces Allen Crowder.
Hardy (3-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over six months. Hardy competed twice on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, defeating Austen Lane on Episode 9 and Tebaris Gordon on Episode 16. Hardy was expected to fight later this month at Island Fights 51, but that bout has been canned for the fighter’s UFC debut.
Crowder (9-3-0-1NC) is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Justin Willis via first round knockout at UFC 218. Crowder competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 8, defeating Don’Tale Mayes by third round TKO. Crowder has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Brooklyn takes place on Saturday, January 19 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
