A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC on Fox 30 according to Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting as Hakeem Dawodu is taking on Austin Arnett.
Dawodu (7-1-1) is currently winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping a contest to Danny Henry at UFC Fight Night London. Dawodu has spent the majority of his professional MMA career in the World Series Of Fighting, where he defeated UFC veteran Steven Siler. Dawodu has seen two of his professional MMA bouts going the distance, with the fighter holding a record of 1-0-1 in those encounters.
Arnett (15-4-0) is also winless thus far during his time in the UFC, dropping a bout to Cory Sandhagen at UFC On Fox 27. Arnett also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 4, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Brandon Davis. Arnett hasn’t picked up a win in almost a year, with his last victory coming over Jake Jokela at an Excite Fight event in June of 2017.
UFC on Fox 30 takes place on Saturday, July 28 from a location to be announced in Canada with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
