A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 257 as Hakeem Dawodu faces Shane Burgos.

Dawodu (12-1-1) enters the contest riding a five fight winning streak, picking up wins over Austin Arnett, Kyle Bochniak, Yoshinori Horie, Julio Arce and Zubaira Tukhugov. Dawodu has suffered just one loss as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Danny Henry at UFC Fight Night London. Dawodu has competed a total of 14 times as a professional MMA fighter and six of them went the distance.
Burgos (13-2-0) has won three of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over Kurt Holobaugh, Cub Swanson and Makwan Amirkhani. Burgos has won six of seven fights as an amateur competitor, with one of those wins coming over Bellator fighter Ricky Bandejas. Burgos has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came in UFC competition.
UFC 257 takes place on Saturday, January 23 from a location to be announced with Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
